Raspberry & Rose Sour
During the first lockdown when leaving the house wasn’t an option and shops had run out of everything, we started to raid our kitchen cupboard to see what we could use to make drinks and realised that jam is a great sweet ingredient that most households have on hand. Raspberry, rose and lemon are a wonderful trio of flavours that sing in perfect harmony with one another. If you don’t fancy the faff of jam, Chambord will work nicely as an alternative
50ml Aval Dor Rose & Hibiscus Vodka
25ml Chambord OR 2 teaspoons raspberry jam
25ml Lemon Juice
Shake hard with ice
Stir ingredients in shaker without ice until the jam has dissolved (if using jam)
Double Strain into chilled coupe
Garnish with a lemon twist
